Main eligibility criteria to avail loan

 The eligibility criteria to avail loan is as under :-

  • The applicant should be a resident of Punjab State
  • Age should be between 18 to 55 years.
  • The person should belong either to one of the Backward Classes notified by Punjab Govt. having annual family income upto Rs. 3.00 Lac Or Minorities  (Sikhs, Muslims, Christian, Buddhists, Parsis and Jainies)  and having annual family income less than Rs. 98000/- in rural areas and Rs. 120000/- in urban areas for Credit Line 1 and upto Rs. 6.00 Lacs for Credit Line 2 Or Economically Weaker Section having annual family income upto Rs. 1.00 Lac.
  • if a person wants to avail loan for a scheme which involves Activity of Technical Nature then he should be at least matriculate. But in case the loan is to be used for schemes which do not require technical knowledge i.e. Hereditary and Non-Technical Nature Activities then the condition of educational qualification is not required.
